Here are some pictures from a recent photo session. Enjoy.

Me and Noel Go big red Pointing brothers

To anyone angry with a friend or someone close to them.

Mathew 5 (The Message)

21 -22"You're familiar with the command to the ancients, 'Do not murder.' I'm telling you that anyone who is so much as angry with a brother or sister is guilty of murder. Carelessly call a brother 'idiot!' and you just might find yourself hauled into court. Thoughtlessly yell 'stupid!' at a sister and you are on the brink of hellfire. The simple moral fact is that words kill.

43 -47"You're familiar with the old written law, 'Love your friend,' and its unwritten companion, 'Hate your enemy.' I'm challenging that. I'm telling you to love your enemies. Let them bring out the best in you, not the worst. When someone gives you a hard time, respond with the energies of prayer, for then you are working out of your true selves, your God-created selves. This is what God does. He gives his best—the sun to warm and the rain to nourish—to everyone, regardless: the good and bad, the nice and nasty. If all you do is love the lovable, do you expect a bonus? Anybody can do that. If you simply say hello to those who greet you, do you expect a medal? Any run-of-the-mill sinner does that.

48"In a word, what I'm saying is, Grow up. You're kingdom subjects. Now live like it. Live out your God-created identity. Live generously and graciously toward others, the way God lives toward you."

Mathew 5 (NIV)
21"You have heard that it was said to the people long ago, 'Do not murder,[a] and anyone who murders will be subject to judgment.' 22But I tell you that anyone who is angry with his brother[b]will be subject to judgment. Again, anyone who says to his brother, 'Raca,[c]' is answerable to the Sanhedrin. But anyone who says, 'You fool!' will be in danger of the fire of hell.

43"You have heard that it was said, 'Love your neighbor[h] and hate your enemy.' 44But I tell you: Love your enemies[i] and pray for those who persecute you, 45that you may be sons of your Father in heaven. He causes his sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the righteous and the unrighteous. 46If you love those who love you, what reward will you get? Are not even the tax collectors doing that? 47And if you greet only your brothers, what are you doing more than others? Do not even pagans do that? 48Be perfect, therefore, as your heavenly Father is perfect.

I looked up this morning at church and noticed something amazing. I had nothing in common with any people beside me and in the rest of the room besides the fract that we all love God.

NY Update

I dont do this enough.

As you know I am already in NY. Here are a few updates.

Im in training and teaching summer school each day.

Im living with my sister and we are starting to get along pretty well.

I love her, Jacob, and Isaac a ton. Pray for their salvation.

I spend most weekends at my mother or fathers house.

Pray that I can spend more and more time with them.

I am trying to figure out whether or not to teach at a public

high school or teach at a private school for Autism. I interview

at the school for Autism on Monday the 17th.

Im attending the Queens Regular Baptist church. It is small but

very supportive and multicultural. It has been a great experience.

I pray that you are all well. I miss you all a tremendous amount.

God Bless,

Mike
